It pumps faster and more cheaply than the competition's equivalent models, e.g. 6% faster and uses 6% less electricity than the Zoeller M-53. Pumps 6% faster and uses 7% less electricity than the Star 3SEH-L.
Solids are no problem with this model, it can handle up to 3/8 inch in size and has a maximum head (lift height from pump to discharge area) of 18 feet. It has a polycarbonate cover and a polypropylene volute/base.
Built in diaphragm switch allows for unattended automatic use with the "ON level" between 7 and 10 inches and "OFF level" between 1 and 4 inches. It is an upgrade from the old snap-action float switch fitted to the lower end Snappy John sump pump.
